I resolve to...

Top Ten (Most Popular) New Year Resolutions
1. Lose Weight and Get in Better Physical Shape
2. Stick to a Budget
3. Debt Reduction
4. Enjoy More Quality Time with Family & Friends
5. Find My Soul Mate
6. Quit Smoking
7. Find a Better Job
8. Learn Something New
9. Volunteer and Help Others
10. Get Organized

New Year's Resolutions...did you make any? I think I'm still working on it. There's just no sense in rushing through it...maybe the longer it takes me to make them, the longer I'll keep them? I don't see "Buy more jewelry" on this list, but I definitely think it should be on mine. Resolving to buy more shoes worked out really well for me. I kept that one. And I'm also tempted to put "Quit Smoking" on mine. Since I don't smoke, that would should be fairly easy to keep as well.

So far, this is the list I'm working with:
1. Buy more jewelry.
2. Quit smoking-DONE.
3. Lose 1 million pounds and run in a marathon. I figure I might as well aim high on this one. The chances are just about as good that I'll keep it. I really am going to work on this. For a while.
4. My "something new" is going to be a book. I'm going to get serious and write, probably about my training for a marathon (which I am not actually going to do because I am not actually crazy but it would make a great book).
5. And just to round out the list, I'm going to pick "Find My Soul Mate." I had no idea it was as easy as resolving to do it. And I have a much better chance of doing that than sticking to a budget or getting organized.

If you made any resolutions, leave me a comment. I'd love to know what you're working on.

The list comes from www.goalsguy.com. Check it out for more info on New Year's Resolution Week. I missed the "Top Ten New Year Resolutions" so I just thought this was your list until I read on! I thought, boy is she ambitious in 2009!
My resolutions are to lose more weight, work out more, clean my house more often, and try not to say negative things about people anymore (or at least reduce the amount!).
