More on the Mitts

Cindy (*waving a mitted hand*) asked for more details on the mitts...first, they're very easy. If you knit already, they're a snap. If you're learning to knit or knook, they're really good practice. I like to knit ribbing. There's no need for a pattern to tell when to knit (you see Vs) or when to purl (you see bumps). These mitts begin and end with ribbing. And the middle isn't too difficult. I never got the pattern memorized, but it's all knits and purls and the mitts are flat when they're finished (as opposed to knit or knooked in the round). My downfall: finishing. It always is so my seam's a little bumpy, a little lumpy, and a little jumpy. I think you're supposed to be able to do that so you don't actually see the seam. I need more practice!

The yarn I used is Moda Dea Washable Wool but I think most 4s/medium weight should work. Take that advice at your own risk. I have a very loose understanding of gauge as well. The pattern is a $2.99 download, click here for more info!

And anybody know CottonCandyG??? No word so I'm thinkin' I'm re-Randomizing on Friday to pick a new winner...tick tock, tick tock!
