When I pulled out the lone sock kit from my overwhelming craft closet, I was intending to make a hat. I knit like the the wind through the sock and went back to my original plan to make a hat for Arkansas Children's Hospital.

So this weekend, I made a hat.

Here it is. It's plain. I think it needs a crocheted flower. Since I was on a knitting roll and wanted to finish up one single solitary ball of yarn from the craft materials avalanche, I cast on another. When I finish the second, I'll ponder embellishments...
