I was successful in my attempt to stay in all day. It's now 8:10 and I haven't stepped foot outside my door. And I managed to get my new machine out, read the sketchy manual, thread it, change out the feet, wind the bobbin, and make the background for the project we worked on in the Take the Fear Out of Color class that Pat taught us while she was here. I went a new direction, based sort of on my inspiration page. I'm not sure about the aqua stripe, but I thought it would help tie in the colors of the applique. I'll audition fabrics for those tomorrow.
