Ring of Kerry, part 1

Since we saw so much when we toured the ring of Kerry, I'm going to do multiple posts.
On day 2, we left for a long bus ride around the ring of Kerry, a drive along the coast of this western county in Ireland.
First, we stopped at a view of the lakes of Killarney and took a shot of a quilt. Here's a very pretty shot of the horses who were not the most cooperative of models.

Then away we went to the coast. We stopped at the Red Fox Inn for a very good Irish coffee and a visit to the Bog Village. I had no idea what that was, but the promise of a visit to see real Irish wolfhounds was enough for me.
