I think I finally finished a project that I can show in public. And give away. I need to do some final fluffing and find some buttons (too bad I didn't think of that when I was out button shopping for LA the other day...I blame it on the heat). There's still a little problem around the neck but...that just proves that it's one of a kind, right? I showed it to the pros at work and there was no public ridicule so I figure that's a great sign. They're really good knitters. And I have it on good authority that she's going to like it. The girls at Stitch In did so that's good enough for me.
I'm going to do my best to improve my late posts. It's either the heat slowing me down or...no, I think that must be it.
UPDATE: I can't believe I forgot to mention that I've appropriated this design from an upcoming LA publication by Cindy G. (baxterknits) that's so far in the future that we don't even have an item number yet. And it's easy enough for me to do! You'll find out more soon...I promise!
