Saturday I made a quick trip down to Garvan Gardens again. I think I should consider a membership, but it's an excellent place to take a camera. I wanted to get out and hike to get some pictures of the leaves before they completely let go. Around here, you have a small window of opportunity to get the fall color before it all falls off. But after the Houston experience, I needed to take it easy. So Mary suggested Garvan and it was a good suggestion. I almost had to sit a spell to rest there so it's a good thing I wasn't running amok somewhere with no benches. Here's a little fall color. I'll put up some flowers (there weren't many. At all.) tomorrow.
