You have a dog. Be happy.

OK, so yes, I know that I've shirked by blogging duty by throwing out some "this will work someday" blogs. I think I'm still caught in the post-Thanksgiving funk that I must soon snap out of. Crafty post tomorrow. For real. I'll have an update on the brown sweater (which I am now convinced shall make me appear as large and furry as a grizzly if I wear it. Still...I must finish.)

I was searching for the cartoon where Charlie Brown is thinking, and wondering, and asking, and then a voice comes to him that says, "You have a dog. Be happy." I didn't find it online (although I do have it stuck on my bulletin board at work along with my new sign from Mundane Jane with Anger Management Kitteh). I found this cartoon instead along with a quote from Kafka. Now I've had my serious doubts about Kafka ever since I met Gregor, the man/bug in "The Metamorphosis." It's not easy being an English major. Perhaps I should have read this instead.

All knowledge, the totality of all questions and answers,is contained in the dog.
- Franz Kafka - Investigations of the Dog
