So just when you think you have no blog entry yet again, a friend says, "Hey, have you heard of this site?" And my answer is almost always a big "No" so it is definitely a blog option. Today that site is FreeRice.com. It's nice when you mix up fun with helping somebody out. This is one of those places. It's basically a vocabulary test (which is only fun for those who like their fun a little weird. They also reminded the teacher when she forgot to make the homework assignment and stayed in at lunch to study.) but for each word you get right, you contribute grains of rice to feed the hungry. The rice is paid for by the advertisers. The levels go to 50. I've only made it to 48 and usually end up around 44 or 45 (yes, I was one of the "they". An English major should count for something too. Maybe just rice). I bet Mundane Jane can pull a 50. She both knows the words and uses them in sentences.
