I did it. All by myself, too.

So I did manage to get my little baby computer all set up. Good job! And I did manage to walk all...the...way over to the convention center. I felt a little like I ought to be wearing a straw hat and my overhalls rolled up around my bare feet with a little hay dangling from my mouth. I gawked. The buildings are tall is what I'm saying. And then there's a subway station right across the intersection from the hotel so I totally rode it...and I didn't get lost! I consider it a personal triumph. More on the destination later.
