I was going to put some clever quote about persistence or overcoming harsh circumstances here, but the photo of this hydrangea says it all. It has overcome serious neglect to grow abundantly in its little overgrown corner of my single flowerbed. It's really the only thing that has been planted at this address that continues to live. I had to take a picture and post it just in case that changes sometime soon. I'm not sure how it's managing for itself, but there you go. The hydrangea is my new favorite flower.
If I remember, I'll try to come back and get a close up, some day when I have a little more bend-ability.
