And you said it couldn't be done. Okay, so I said it, not you, but...voila! The FIRST completed mitt. If you guessed August 1, don't get too excited because I now have to knook knit another. If you guessed December 21, 2012, you're still in the running. Although, I'm not sure I'm going to need fingerless mitts at that point (um, what? You don't make plans based on the ancient Mayan calendar? What about John Cusack movies? Nah, me either but I'm still going to try to have the mitt done before then, just in case).
Please to ignore my dishpan hands. I come from good stock, salt of the earth types and this is reflected in my hands.
I just wanted to show that this one can be worn. We won't talk about my finishing skills because those are not the knook's fault.
Want to make a pair of your very own?? It's not too late. Leave me a comment here, the contest runs through August 6. And the odds are pretty good! Stay tuned for more mitt developments.

I am so in love with the knook! cant wait to have one of my own to start testing patters :D
Looks great! I have always said that knitting needles would be perfect if only they had hooks on the end.
Love the fingerless mitts!
That turned out so cool! Love the color. :)
The mit looks great and fits perfectly. I can't wait to get to try this.
Those are awesome! =)
Knooking is the answer for those of us that can't get both hands working together!
Your glove looks great. I love the diagonal ribbing across the hand.
I like the mitt, the angle line makess it. i've checked this new (to me)knooking looks like just what i've needed. I hear ravelry's had a group since '04.
