And a quick run through the quilts...
Before the show opened on Friday, I went as quickly through the quilts as I could. I imagine that I probably had wild eyes, wild hair, and probably shortness of breath as I spun this direction and that snapping photos as quickly as I could. I definitely had to see the Hollis Chatelaine quilt. It's at the top with Desmond Tutu. The other quilts are just things that caught my eye and made me stop...no easy feat when I'm under pressure. I really loved the last quilt, the black and white quilt at the bottom. Apparently I was less into tradition this year. It's a total shame not to spend more time with these quilts, and I'm making myself promise to slow down a little next year to look more carefully. I'll have plenty of time. I won't need to buy a thing anyway.

The middle right quilt is a block of the month quilt from Ladyfingers Sewing Studio [formerly the Summerhouse in Oley, PA] It is called Oley Tulip. The black and white one is gorgeous!
