Signature dish

It was a busy weekend. On Saturday, the ministry I volunteer with had a big deal, an event with vendors and with national bestselling author Shaunti Feldhahn. By the time it was over, I was pooped. I think that's the medical term for feeling like I had been run over by a truck. I'm not sure how people who really had to work felt afterwords. I mainly shopped and photographed but shopping can be hard.

And then on Sunday, it was the October-bration, a birthday party for both of my brothers and one of my nephews. I only had to make this apple dumpling thing. I now make it for everything I am asked to make anything for. It is my signature dish. Someday I might even learn to make it pretty. I would advise all of you to find a signature dish that has a secret, exciting ingredient that astounds and amazes. This one does: Mountain Dew. And it was goo-ooo-oood this time.
