So...have I mentioned that today is my birthday? And what I wanted most was the perfect haircut. Alas, I did not wake up to a pleasing haircut and there were only minor improvements after a shower, wash and style.

I have celebrated 38 birthdays now, right here, in Arkansas. I don't really remember them all (probably old age creeping in), but it seems my day has most often either been one of ice and snow or throw your windows open springtime. In January.

Guess which one I got this year? If you are currently buried under mounds of snow, I apologize, but I'm so, so happy I got this forecast instead. If you can snowshoe out, come to Arkansas. The weather's nice.

And as a second gift...
I was watching television last night and managed to hear some commercials. Thanks to the wonders of DVR, it doesn't happen often. And I saw a commercial with this beautiful, recognizable voice that I knew I should know. You know? Instead of falling prey to my Google sickness, I shrugged and went to bed. I slept on it. I showered on it. I drove to work on it. And as I drove down Highway 10 this morning, it hit me...Simply Orange, Donald Sutherland. I felt like I had solved the mystery of the ages. I was proud.

And then I Googled it...you know, just to be sure. The internets...the truth is out there.

And just for fun, since I mentioned the horoscope days ago and my general amusement...my birthday horoscope. I'm reading lots of exercise in this for some reason and I'm tired already.
